Shop Black Country Flag, Windsock

Wave the West Midlands flag, with this fantastic ‘Black Country’ themed windsock. If you are looking to decorate your home, garden or any outdoor space with a little touch of West Midlands, black magic, this windsock design is perfect.

The Black Country Flag is a community flag proclaiming the unique identity of this distinctive area of the West Midlands. Featuring the ‘Black Country’ design this brightly printed windsock is made up of 100% polyester material. With bold red and black stripes boldly stand out against the crisp white touches.

Once in use, the windsock reaches a full length of 1.5m. Perfect for gardens and outdoor events, (however must not be left out in extreme wind conditions over a prolonged period).

Symbols & Colours

The flag features a chain symbol which represents the manufacturing heritage of the West Midlands area. Whilst the triangular shapes in the background give a nod to the iconic glass cones and iron furnaces featured in the architectural landscape.

The red and black colours recall the famous description of the Black Country by Elihu Burritt that it was “black by day and red by night” owing to the smoke and fires of industry.

Shipping & Delivery

Most UK mainland orders are shipped by next working day delivery courier (not guaranteed), or by Royal Mail 1st class post.

Orders placed before 1230pm on a working day will be processed and despatched the same day. Please note that during busier periods, this cannot be guaranteed. Royal Mail postage does not guarantee a delivery date. Orders needed for a specific date should use next day delivery courier (not guaranteed).

It is the sole responsibility of the purchaser to ensure all shipping details are correct. The next working day delivery is a Monday to Friday delivery service.

Saturday delivery may be available for a small surcharge. Orders placed after 1230pm on a Friday will be shipped Monday or Tuesday on bank holidays (we do not ship on weekends or bank holidays).

All next day deliveries sent by courier will require a signature.
