Delivery and Payment

Most UK mainland orders are shipped by the Royal Mail 1st class post.

Orders placed before 1230pm on a working day will be processed and despatched the same day. Please note that during busier periods, this cannot be guaranteed. Orders needed for a specific date should use next day delivery courier (not guaranteed).

UK Mainland, Scottish Highlands and Northern Ireland will be sent by Royal Mail 1st class Post. The option to send by courier can also be arranged.

The Channel Islands can also be as little as 1 working day. Scottish Islands generally are 48-72 hours.

It is the sole responsibility of the purchaser to ensure all shipping details are correct. The next working day delivery is a Monday to Friday delivery service.

Saturday delivery may be available for a small surcharge. Orders placed after 1230pm on a Friday will be shipped Monday or Tuesday on bank holidays (we do not ship on weekends or bank holidays).

All next day deliveries sent by courier will require a signature.

Any orders sent to customers with addresses outside the United Kingdom will not be charged any tax by us. Instead, any relevant Import Duties/local Taxes may be collected when your package(s) are delivered by the courier. In some circumstances, the courier will contact you via email with a payment link. Once payment has been made, goods will then be released to you.

Worldwide Flags Ltd (worldflagshop.com), is not responsible for these charges as we only charge the transportation cost for the shipments by the courier.

We strongly advise that you check your countries rules of import and classification to determine what tax you may be expected to pay when importing goods from the United Kingdom.

Sending by courier DHL/DPD/FEDEX/UPS can take as little as 1-2 working days.

If you have a preference of courier, then please do let us know in the additional notes when you are at the checkout stage of your order. If you wish to make your own arrangements for collection using a courier, then please let us know.

We cannot refund any international shipments which are refused and they will be treated as abandoned if the customer has refused to accept them. Any refused or abandoned deliveries that are returned to us will have the carriage and any incurred import tax/duty on the return charged to the customer.

We cannot refund international shipments if you are not available to sign for or receive a parcel. It is your responsibility to deal with any local postal service or courier company. Once your order leaves our warehouse, we are not liable after this point. We do not have any knowledge of each and every Country’s local postal services. This is the responsibility of the receiver of goods.

We cannot be held responsible for delays outside our control. If delivery of your products is delayed by an event out of our control, then we will contact you as soon as possible to let you know, but only if we are made aware of it.  If possible, we will try to take steps to try and minimise the delay. We cannot guarantee delivery times, and any returns request after a late delivery may still be refused by us.

If you are based in the EU, you will require an EORI number. If you do not have one, then you will need to register for this on your Countries government website. Please note that if you do not have an EORI number, we cannot send goods to you.

In the event of goods being “Out of Stock” when ordering, you will be notified by email, phone call or the missing items will be noted on your invoice. Where possible, we will advise you of the potential delivery date.
