This Bisexual Flag is an important symbol in the bisexual community and was created to raise awareness of bisexuality It was designed by Michael Page in 1998, with the aim of increasing the visibility of bisexuals. Since then, his design, sporting the three colours of pink, lavender, and blue, has become the undisputed symbol of bisexuality and is widely recognized all over the world. The pink colour represents sexual attraction to the same sex only, the blue represents sexual attraction to the opposite sex only, and the overlapping purple colour represents an attraction to both.

The symbolism of the Bisexual Flag

Michael Page mentions that the key to understanding the symbolism of the Bisexual Flag is to know that the purple pixels of colour blend unnoticeably into both the pink and blue, just as in the ‘real world’, where bi people blend unnoticeably into the gay/lesbian and straight communities.

Shipping & Delivery

Most UK mainland orders are shipped by next working day delivery courier (not guaranteed), or by Royal Mail 1st class post.

Orders placed before 1230pm on a working day will be processed and despatched the same day. Please note that during busier periods, this cannot be guaranteed. Royal Mail postage does not guarantee a delivery date. Orders needed for a specific date should use next day delivery courier (not guaranteed).

It is the sole responsibility of the purchaser to ensure all shipping details are correct. The next working day delivery is a Monday to Friday delivery service.

Saturday delivery may be available for a small surcharge. Orders placed after 1230pm on a Friday will be shipped Monday or Tuesday on bank holidays (we do not ship on weekends or bank holidays).

All next day deliveries sent by courier will require a signature.
