Sutherland County Flag

The Sutherland flag was the result of a competition held in the Scottish county. The Saltire and Nordic crosses are overlaid which represents Sutherland?s unique history when Scottish territory was under Viking control. The golden sun in the middle symbolises the sun raised high in the south.

This Sutherland Flag is the ideal way to show your pride for your county, the flag showcases a meaning that could only apply to Sutherland and it?s unique history. The Sutherland County Flag can also be used to take to sports events, local festivals; to decorate at your local pubs and shops or for educational purposes, as it is only one of 6 registered flags in Scotland.
