2022 marks 60 years since Jamaica officially became independent, making this flag perfect for all looking to celebrate the anniversary. 

Following WWII, decolonisation became widespread throughout the world, though it wouldn’t be until 1962 that Jamaica officially cut ties with the British Empire. 

On August 6 that year, the Union Jack was symbolically lowered and replaced with the flag of Jamaica, marking the end of an era and the start of a new one. 

Perhaps you are celebrating the 60th anniversary or are a lover of Jamaica and its culture. Either way, this flag is perfect for you.
