Our peace hand flag with colourful splashes of blue and pink has given the classic peace symbol a modern twist. This design is ideal for street parties, rallies and decorating public spaces, in support of peace.

The Peace Hand Design

The design of this flag is made up with a dark background, made up of stormy clouds and features a large white handprint in the forefront. In the centre of the white handprint is the peace symbol, half blue and half pink. Below the hand is the word peace in large white lettering. With the background of the lettering split to feature splashes of pink and blue.

Story of The Peace Symbol

Gerald Holtom designed the modern peace sign in 1958. The symbol was created as part of the British campaign for nuclear disarmament. The vertical line in the centre represents the flag semaphore signal for the letter D, and the downward lines on either side represent the semaphore signal for the letter N.

The symbol was widely adopted across Europe and is now commonly known worldwide as a symbol of peace.

Shipping & Delivery

Most UK mainland orders are shipped by next working day delivery courier (not guaranteed), or by Royal Mail 1st class post.

Orders placed before 1230pm on a working day will be processed and despatched the same day. Please note that during busier periods, this cannot be guaranteed. Royal Mail postage does not guarantee a delivery date. Orders needed for a specific date should use next day delivery courier (not guaranteed).

It is the sole responsibility of the purchaser to ensure all shipping details are correct. The next working day delivery is a Monday to Friday delivery service.

Saturday delivery may be available for a small surcharge. Orders placed after 1230pm on a Friday will be shipped Monday or Tuesday on bank holidays (we do not ship on weekends or bank holidays).

All next day deliveries sent by courier will require a signature.
