More Colours More Pride

The Pride flag colours have become recognisable worldwide, with the striped rainbow flag being used across all pride events, organisations and celebrations. In keeping with the pride flag re-design in 2017, to encourage greater inclusion, this pride design shows all eight colours of the pride rainbow.

Measuring 5’x3′ this pride flag is made up of 100% polyester, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. The flag is made up of the classic rainbow striped design, including the updated colours of black and brown.

Pride Flag Colours Story

In 2017 the city of Philadelphia adopted the pride rainbow to include stripes of black and brown. Designed by artist Gilbert Baker, the introduction of these colours, at the top of the flag, was aimed towards representing LGBT communities of colour. Following the introduction of these colours in 2017 this rainbow of pride colours is now the adopted symbol of pride worldwide.

Pride Colour Meanings

The pride flag is made up of a rainbow of colours and each stripe of colour represents its own meaning:

  • Black: Diversity
  • Brown: Inclusivity
  • Red: Life
  • Orange: Healing
  • Yellow: Sunlight
  • Green: Nature
  • Blue: Harmony
  • Purple: Spirit

Shipping & Delivery

Most UK mainland orders are shipped by next working day delivery courier (not guaranteed), or by Royal Mail 1st class post.

Orders placed before 1230pm on a working day will be processed and despatched the same day. Please note that during busier periods, this cannot be guaranteed. Royal Mail postage does not guarantee a delivery date. Orders needed for a specific date should use next day delivery courier (not guaranteed).

It is the sole responsibility of the purchaser to ensure all shipping details are correct. The next working day delivery is a Monday to Friday delivery service.

Saturday delivery may be available for a small surcharge. Orders placed after 1230pm on a Friday will be shipped Monday or Tuesday on bank holidays (we do not ship on weekends or bank holidays).

All next day deliveries sent by courier will require a signature.
