The Design

The Progress Pride Flag adds a five stripe arrow-shaped to the traditional six-coloured Rainbow Flag, which has become widely recognised as the symbol of Pride. (lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community.)

In addition to the striped arrow the rainbow background of the Progress Pride flag also now includes black and brown stripes. Which represents those living with AIDS, and those no longer living.

Progress Pride Story

Graphic designer Daniel Quasar updated the traditional Pride Flag in 2018. Adding a five-coloured chevron to the LGBT Rainbow Flag. Placing a greater emphasis on “inclusion and progression”.

Quasar’s design builds on a design adopted by the city of Philadelphia in June 2017. Philadelphia’s version added black and brown stripes to the top of the Rainbow Flag, to represent LGBT communities of colour.

The transgender flag, designed by Monica Helms in 1999, consists of one horizontal white stripe, surrounded by two horizontal pink stripes and two light blue stripes. Quasar has reshaped the form of this flag into a chevron in his updated design.

Shipping & Delivery

Most UK mainland orders are shipped by next working day delivery courier (not guaranteed), or by Royal Mail 1^st class post.

Orders placed before 1230pm on a working day will be processed and despatched the same day. Please note that during busier periods, this cannot be guaranteed. Royal Mail postage does not guarantee a delivery date. Orders needed for a specific date should use next day delivery courier (not guaranteed).

It is the sole responsibility of the purchaser to ensure all shipping details are correct. The next working day delivery is a Monday to Friday delivery service.

Saturday delivery may be available for a small surcharge. Orders placed after 1230pm on a Friday will be shipped Monday or Tuesday on bank holidays (we do not ship on weekends or bank holidays).

All next day deliveries sent by courier will require a signature.
