V-E Day stands for victory in Europe day. VE Day began on the 8th May 1945 and marks the ending of World War 2 in Europe. This Day was celebrated by millions coming together in the streets of London, accompanied by Queen Elizabeth. This year 2020 marks the 75th anniversary.

VE Day 2025

Recent circumstance may have put a pause on the planned 80th VE Day Celebrations, but there is nothing stopping us all continuing the celebrations at home. The British Legion is continuing to mark this celebration with a variety of at-home events, including sing-alongs and live streams.
