Shop Cumberland Flag Windsock

Wave the Cumberland flag, with this fantastic Cumberland themed windsock. If you are looking to decorate your home, garden or any outdoor space with a little touch of Cumberland, this windsock design is perfect.

Featuring the traditional Cumberland flag, this brightly printed windsock is made up of 100% Nylon. The vividly bright blue and green colours boldly stand out against the crisp white background.

Once in use, the windsock reaches a full length of 1.5m. Perfect for gardens and outdoor events, (however must not be left out in extreme wind conditions over a prolonged period).

Symbols & Colours

The pattern of the flag symbolises the coastline and famous lakes with the blue and white wavy lines. Whilst the green upper half of the flag represents the Grass-of-Parnassus flowers and the marshy up-lands and fertile plains of the county. The waves and Parnassus flowers are also used by Cumberland County Cricket Club.

History of the Cumberland Flag

The Cumberland Flag was officially registered on December 13th 2012, becoming the 26th British county flag. The design is a re-working of the banner of arms of the former Cumberland County Council, granted in 1950.

Shipping & Delivery

Most UK mainland orders are shipped by next working day delivery courier (not guaranteed), or by Royal Mail 1st class post.

Orders placed before 1230pm on a working day will be processed and despatched the same day. Please note that during busier periods, this cannot be guaranteed. Royal Mail postage does not guarantee a delivery date. Orders needed for a specific date should use next day delivery courier (not guaranteed).

It is the sole responsibility of the purchaser to ensure all shipping details are correct. The next working day delivery is a Monday to Friday delivery service.

Saturday delivery may be available for a small surcharge. Orders placed after 1230pm on a Friday will be shipped Monday or Tuesday on bank holidays (we do not ship on weekends or bank holidays).

All next day deliveries sent by courier will require a signature.
