About Herm Island Flag

The official Herm Island Flag was officially adopted in 1953. Also known as ‘the flag of Herm’, the flag is white with a St. Georges Cross with a banner of the arms of Herm in the Canton. Adding to this, the flag was designed by the British vexillologist William Crampton.

History of the island

Firstly, the Island is located 3 miles from Guernsey which is part of the Channel Islands. The only way to get there is by boat and there are no cars on the island. In fact, you can travel there by private yacht or the passenger ferry. The island has a lot of history. The North-East side of the island has an array of beaches. The South of the island is home to very high steep cliffs. As a whole, the island is very scenic and picturesque. Additionally, there are a number of campsites and even hotels on the island. The island is open all year, however, it is busiest for tourists in the Summer months. During the Summer months, there are cafes open on the beaches.

Royal Mail postage does not guarantee a delivery date. Orders needed for a specific date should use next day delivery courier (not guaranteed).

It is the sole responsibility of the purchaser to ensure all shipping details are correct. The next working day delivery is a Monday to Friday delivery service.

Saturday delivery may be available for a small surcharge. Orders placed after 1230pm on a Friday will be shipped Monday or Tuesday on bank holidays (we do not ship on weekends or bank holidays).
